Marcus Andronicus put a disappointing effort in the Coventry behind him when finding just one too good in a Listed race at Leopardstown when last seen in July and has to be respected but the ground may have turned against the son of Danehill and preference is for Jeremy, who gets the vote ahead of South Cape. The last mentioned was not disgraced in similar grade at York earlier this month and should be thereabouts again along with The Wild Swan, although being by Storm Cat the latter is not certain to handle the cut in the ground. Escape Plan is closely matched with South Cape on York running and has to be respected although a bigger threat may come from Brian Meehan's Manston, who will relish every drop of rain that falls on Town Moor and looks to be progressing along the right lines. The vote though goes to Sir Michael Stoute's Jeremy, who fulfilled earlier promise when scoring at Windsor last time and, with further improvement to come, he looks the one to be on.
