        Verdict

Adiemus will be a warm order to go one better than he did in the race last year when second behind Zucchero. He his fit from an AW campaign and his latest second behind Parasol proves he is in form. However he although he is proven on the ground he is running off a much higher mark this year and he may be venerable to a better handicapped rival. Norton finished behind Adiemus in that Lingfield race, however he will strip a lot fitter for this contest and he is slightly better off at the weights. Selective has been well backed in recent weeks for this contest. He is proven on the ground and he won his last race last season in good style when defeating Pretula, he has scope for improvement and the booking of Kieren Fallon catches the eye. Pablo is another that could go well, he is from a yard in form and he defeated Certain Justice in good style on his last run last season. However that was on good to soft ground and he may not be as effective on this much faster ground. Certain Justice is slightly better off at the weights in this contest but he to is seen to better effect when there is more cut in the ground/ Colisay was seventh behind Millennium Force at Ascot on his latest run, he is a stable companion of Selective but he has never won off a mark this high and he to is better when there is more cut in the ground. Cape Town is well in on his best form but he was slightly disappointing at the end of last season. However he goes well fresh and the booking of Richard Hughes catches the eye. Lingo is from a very shrewd yard and any market confidence should be noted. Dumaran is fit from hurdling and he is from a yard in form but his best form of late on the flat has been over a slightly longer trip. Bourgainville has been gelded through the winter and better things are expected of him. Of the remainder Scotty's Future goes well fresh and he is likely to have the race run to suit, the same comment applies to Finished Article.
