In depth

Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for this conditions stakes. Razkalla is taken to maintain his unbeaten record. The colt from the David Loder Yard won well at Wolverhampton when defeating Sahaat. He is sure to come on for that run and he will be hard to beat. Mesmeric rates the main danger he was a fair third behind Dusty Warbler on his last season, that was on heavy ground and he should be seen to better effect on this much faster surface. Darasim finished third in the Doncaster Cup a Group 3 race behind Boreas over a longer trip on his last run. He may well be suited by a return to this trip and he is another who should go well. Tees Components has been in fair form over hurdles during the winter, but his best efforts on the flat have come over a longer trip with cut in the ground. Casual Flame is unbeaten in two races abroad but he has not run for 894 days and he is sure to come on for the run. Court Shareef and Herodotus need to improve on there latest efforts to score.
