No form to go on in this race. Ace Coming may be better at a slightly longer trip in time but has something to like about him on breeding in the context of this race. Fox Wood is blinkered for his racecourse debut and has to be respected as his trainer has done well at Doncaster in recent years. Traytonic is also from a stable that get some runners ready early so cannot be dismissed lightly. Blackmoll is a half-sister to a couple of winners but, like La Puce, was cheaply purchased. The latter does, however, have some speed in her pedigree. Of Jimmy Fox's pair, Miss Lady Ash and Westwood Lady (both cheap acquisitions), the latter would seem to be the better on jockey bookings, while Tommy Two Hairs some good blood on her dam's side but is another that did not challenge the bank account when sold. It is a difficult race to assess but, as you would expect, is low on quality. However, with Brian McMahon doing well recently at Doncaster, the vote goes to Fox Wood.
