VERNATTI continued her good progress with an easy win at Leicester in May. She’s been given a short break and Pam Sly’s filly is taken to defy a further hike in the weights. First Voyage unseated at the start last time but was placed in a higher grade at Haydock before that while Energia Fox has struggled since winning at Chester in May. Lexington Law and Sellingallthetime drop back in trip for this but Boycie was runner-up off today’s mark over 1m2f at Haydock on his penultimate start.
