In depth

Verdict

A wide open hunter chase in which many have chances and where jockeyship is all important. Torn Silk is taken to score. He was a good winner last time out is a safe jumper and he is proven on the ground. Justin Mac is another who is proven on the ground and his latest second at Stratford behind The Land Agent gives him every chance in this grade. Son Of Anshan would also be worthy of consideration on his best form but his stable has been woefully out of form in the point-to-point field of late. Alpha Romana is another who goes on the ground but his best form is over shorter trips. Gatorade was a good second behind Il Capitano over hurdles last time. He was also a a fair chaser at his best and he will find this grade easier. Sursum Corda gives the impression he is better over a longer trip now, while Donallach Mor has one of the best jockeys on board but he has two ways of running.
