In depth

Verdict

Another wide open affair in which many can be given chances on there best form. Trump Card was a fair third behind Hoh Invader last time over a longer trip weakening before the last. The step down to the minimum trip should suit and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Secret Conquest is from a a yard that has done well with it's hurdlers this year and he was a promising fourth on his debut. However he gave the impression he was a none stayer last time and he may be worth taking on at likely odds. Lease is another worthy of consideration as he has been running well on bad ground of late and this is the first time this season he has his optimum conditions. The Last Mohican was a fair fifth behind East Tycoon over course and distance would see him go close off what looks a lenient mark. Dreamie Battle has ran well without winning in similar races of late and she again has definite place claims. Amarone is another for the short list as he is a course and distance winner who goes on the ground but he has looked in the handicappers grip of late. Of the remainder Xibalba has shown a modicum of ability on the flat, is from a top yard and any market confidence would be significant. The remainder need to improve on there latest efforts to trouble the judge.
