Verdict
Nina Carberry looks an intriguing jockey booking on EL DECECY and he is nominated ahead of Secret Night and Middlemarch. Stuart Parr's gelding has a big weight of 11 stone to carry here but he may be up to beating this field. His recent success came in selling company but he should still be competitive in handicaps, has trip and ground to suit and is fancied to oblige. Secret Night was a Lingfield winner a fortnight ago and he is considered, especially as he is able to race off a much lower mark now back on turf. Prize Fighter has been seen over hurdles of late and will need to bounce back to form but that wouldn't be out of the question with Serena Brotherton aboard. Fiefdom is a course winner but his latest run at Lingfield in Doncaster was below par and he has a bit to prove at present, as do Daaweitza and Smarty Socks. A stablemate of the former is Campli who must be considered with Lorraine Ellison riding for her father but from 4lb out of the weights he is taken on with El Dececy.
