Verdict

Kloud Gate landed the odds easily on good going over the course and distance back in December 2018 and has raced in better company on much softer ground subsequently so could go well at a price. ONEMOREFORTHEROAD landed a Huntingdon handicap by 11 lengths last week and has been raised 11lb but can race with a 7lb penalty here. Lilly Pinchin claims 5lb so Neil King's charge is very well handicapped. Dual Flat winner Billy Ray hadn't shown much over timber until well supported at Wetherby and beaten just a length in a big field so connections will be looking for compensation. Duc De Bourbon was beaten when falling in two of his three starts over hurdles but may do better over this longer trip. Hunting Percival looked one to follow when landing a Uttoxeter novices' hurdle last summer. He started favourite for a Newcastle jumpers' bumper last month and though only mid-division will have been sharpened up.
