Topofthecotswolds, three-times a winner over fences, easily landed a novices' hurdle at Uttoxeter before two fair efforts in much better company at Cheltenham. A run in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton last month will have sharpened him up for this. Greenrock Abbey narrowly landed a Tyrella point-to-point last March though that was a poor contest and he was beaten when taking a crashing fall in a novices' hurdle at Ascot in November. JACK SHARP made a very encouraging debut here in December and showed the benefit with another fine effort on a return visit when runner-up to Lunar Sovereign, who was completing a double and has subsequently been placed in a Kempton Grade 2. That should be good enough for this.
