Lady Villanelle was impressive when landing a novices' event over the course and distance in November but ran nowhere near that form at Musselburgh in January. West End Lady finished close up in two course and distance novices' events on heavy going but was well beaten in a Kelso handicap on soft ground next time. Red Reminder scored twice over 2m4f at Sedgefield early last year but hasn't shown much this winter so this can go to GAMESTERS ICON. Four-times a winner on the Flat, she found 2m3f too far at Carlisle last time but was placed at this trip in her three previous starts and can get back on the winning trail. Winning point-to-pointer Melanamix is likely to find this on the short side on this ground.
