This looks a race in which jockeyship will likely play as big a part as form. Wendy Gibson has proved her prowess in the saddle and steered Summer Dancer into fifth place in a valuable ladies' race at Ascot last July, though the seven-year-old is making his reappearance here. Realt Na Mara and Methaaly have both been in action on the all-weather, though neither has sparkled lately and the latter is probably better over 6f. Fremen is only a plater nowadays and Bawaardi usually finds at least one too good so we'll take a chance on CYFLYMDER, who shaped with a bit of promise on his return to action over C&D and has been dropped a couple of pounds by the handicapper since.
