Plenty of improvers and plenty of horses in form for this competitive conditions race and the narrow vote goes to Ancien Regime ahead of Taurian and Mister Fips. The selection is the most unexposed runner in the field coming here on the back of just one run. That was when this King's Best colt scored at Yarmouth on good to soft ground but with today's quicker ground not expected to be a problem, he is expected to continue Michael Jarvis' good recent form. Al Muheer has the highest official rating in the field and comes here on the back of a win at Lingfield. He broke his duck in comfortable fashion that day and with more to come, he should run well. The hat-trick seeking Taurian has won three of his six starts to date and warrants respect, whilst the only filly in the field Feeling Proud looks likely to be outclassed. Art Sale and Mister Fips have both proven themselves to be consistent performers, whilst Captain Macarry represents a stable who have some quality two-year-old's however he looks unlikely to get it all his own way up front. Another competitive affair, and the vote goes to Ancien Regime.
