In depth

Verdict

A race that won’t take much winning can go to LICIT, who lost many lengths at the start at Nottingham eight days ago and was then hampered off the home turn but still managed to finish fifth. There’s a chance that Key Spirit is a bit better than he’s shown so far but the 11-year-old Dance King is fully exposed and usually needs a run. Mack The Knife, Charlie Arthur and Little India would need to translate all-weather form to this surface.
