In depth

Verdict

Geodesic made a very promising start in a Curragh maiden when unfancied. Gavin Ryan takes over from Paddy Harnett, who is on the stable's newcomer Don Julio who is also by Caravaggio out of a 7f Group 3 winner. Albion Square was well beaten in that Curragh maiden but wasn't right post-race and will be expected to do better. The Entertainer is another by Caravaggio and a half-brother to a 5f-1m winner while Reigning Profit is from the first crop of top-class sprinter Profitable out of a very speedy two-year-old winner. SHE'S TROUBLE is a full sister to Jim Bolger's smart Smash Williams and related to other winners and she's handed the vote to make a successful debut.
