In depth

Verdict

MIDRAAR can give weight to his younger rivals with conditions likely to ensure stamina is at a premium. William Haggas’ four-year-old won over 1m4f at Chester last summer and was then second on soft going at Haydock so conditions won’t be an issue. Roseabad didn’t get much of a run at Newmarket last month and may prove the pick of the Mark Johnston pair while Invite finished ahead of Galah over this trip at Windsor when making his debut on Turf and probably has the beating of Miss Mulligan on collateral form.
