Verdict

Constantine Bay has a bit to prove having showed little on his fencing bow at Bangor, though should strip fitter here. Pain Au Chocolat runs his best races at Newcastle and may need this but Boagrius is better than he showed at Ayr. Storm Control was a good second at Wetherby and is still lightly raced while Barton Knoll pops up now and again, though usually off lower marks. SKY PIRATE was heavily punted at Ascot last month but didn’t really handle the soft ground. If he puts his best foot forward, he should finally open his account over fences today.
