A competitive contest and the vote goes to Mr Wolf ahead of Canadian Danehill and Harry Up. The selection has proven himself adept at a variety of tracks but one major weapon in his armour is his searing early pace. His high draw appears as if it may prove to be a good one, and David Barker's gelding is fancied to record the tenth win of his career. Harry Up comes here in good form and shapes as if a win is imminent. Whilst he continues to edge up the weights for being beaten, he still looks well handicapped, and along with Gallery Girl goes on the shortlist. Kay Two is likely to show up well early on and should last longer this time around, whilst Canadian Danehill continues to run well and scored very easily for Frankie Dettori last time out. That partnership must again be feared although with an 8lb rise in the weights, a career-best effort will be needed. Haajes and Yungaburra represent Declan Muprhy and each should be monitored for support in the betting. Whilst Fromsong could go well at a price, it is Mr Wolf that we return to as the nomination.
