    Verdict

Storting won in novice company at Pontefract last time having been beaten in handicaps earlier. Benadalid is preferred on a recent success at Ripon and makes more appeal than The Jean Genie while the three-year-olds Light Up Our Stars and Sandret have a chance at the weights with the former proven over today’s trip. A smart handicapper for Luca Cumani on his day, BANKSEA has been much travelled subsequently and has tumbled down the weights since joining Majorie Fife. A second at Chelmsford last week suggests he may not have finished winning yet and he gets the vote.
