Verdict

A’ALI (NAP) found the 6f in heavy going beyond him in France last time but was successful at Deauville before that having earlier landed the Norfolk Stakes over the minimum trip at Ascot. He can return to his best in this and Frankie Dettori was on board for both previous wins. Alligator Alley won a Listed contest at York last month with Dream Shot well beaten and had earlier finished in front of compatriot Wheels On Fire when runner-up in the Molecomb at Goodwood. Joseph O’Brien’s charge is preferred to another Listed winner in Flaming Princess while the progressive dual novice winner Golden Dragon tries his luck at this higher level and makes more appeal than both Seize The Time and Emten.
