This is just one of several tough-looking handicaps on today's card and earlier races should be studied to see where the draw advantage lies. Mia' Boy is well handicapped but may not be the force of old, while Captain Ramius is climbing the weights. Irish Heartbeat has dropped to a decent mark, however, and it would be no surprise to see him run a lot better here while David Nicholls' pair Docofthebay and Thunderball should make their presence felt. Crown Choice and Perfect Silence, well backed at Ascot two runs ago, are others with decent claims but Swop is probably best watched on his first start since February and the first-time blinkered Internationaldebut struggles to get his head in front nowadays. MANASSAS is 4lb higher than when winning the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and finished behind a few of these at Newmarket last time. But he likes it here and, granted luck in-running, could the value in an open contest.
