Despite the numbers this isn't that competitive and a chance is taken with the lightly raced Seeking Answers to defy a far from ideal draw. Alec Stewart's colt was third to New Mexican on his debut at Ponterfract, when apprentice ridden and that form was done no harm here on Wednesday with the winner finishing second in a strong conditions event. The selection showed the benefit of his debut when scoring in good style at Haydock, with the third that day, Kozando having won twice since and the fifth, Diosypros Blue completing a hat-trick, the last one off a mark of 89. Kieren Fallon again takes the reins and he looks the one to beat. Goblin has some useful form in maidens and is from a stable that has to be feared in these types of events, but his overall form does leave him with a little to find, while Morse is from a stable that is enjoying a fine season with its juveniles, boasting a 24% strike rate. He is well drawn and looks sure to have a say in proceeding's. All-Weather winner Pink Sapphire is open to improvement, but she will need to, while Primo Way, a half-brother to high-class juvenile Never A Doubt is better than he has shown so far and is well placed for a bold show in stall 21. Signor Panettiere looked a colt of some promise when first setting foot on the racecourse, but he has been a major flop since then and has plenty to prove at present. Others of note include the consistent Neon Blue and Lingfield flop Turtle Patriarch, who may have found the ground too fast for him that day. The recent rain on Town Moor will certainly be in his favour, but we will stick with Seeking Answers, who is still open to plenty of improvement.
