Third in last years Gold Cup, Wareed will surely find this trip too sharp for him, on this return to action, so the one's to concentrate on look to be Millstreet and Dubai Success, with the three-year-old getting the vote. Barry Hills' colt has faced a couple of stiff tasks since winning his maiden by a wide margin, tackling Group 3 company in the Gordon Stakes, as well as finishing a respectable 5th, beaten around eight-lengths in the Group 2 Great Voltiguer Stakes. This is something of a drop in class for him and he is taken to see off Millstreet. Trained to win a couple of races in Ireland, he joined the boys in blue after winning a Listed race at the Curragh last October. He was having his first outing in this country when just denied by the useful Gamut at Windsor last month and is sure to strip sharper here. Putra Sandhurst is as game as they come, but he has gone over two years since last getting his head in front. He has plenty of form at this level and should give a good account, without actually winning. Spanish John has been below his best of late and has something to prove at present, while Gallery God also looks to have something to prove at this level. So, with Dubai Success likely to appreciate this easier task, he gets the vote to see off Millstreet.
