Verdict

Malrescia has smart form over this trip and led until inside the final furlong in the Group 3 Sirenia at Kempton last Saturday but she may struggle to get to the front today as The Platinum Queen showed terrific early speed in the Nunthorpe at York until mown down by the in-form Highfield Princess. This is a stiffer track, however, and the forecast going is also a concern whereas TRILLIUM’s breeding suggests she’ll handle any give in the ground and the Hannon filly is improving at a rate of knots. Funny Money Honey has had a few chances so the colt Crispy Cat may be the pick of the Irish raiders. Prince Of Pillo is 2-2 but up against in in this company.
