This is a real tough puzzle to solve. Only one three-year-old has won this in the last six years, though the younger generation have a decent record overall. Polarisation beat Not Never a head in the Melrose at York and has since finished third over a shorter trip at Ascot. But the runner-up is 9lb better off here so should turn the tables. Future Empire deserves a get his head back in front and was only beaten a neck by Pressure Point at Musselburgh last month. The latter now looks too high in the weights so the Godolphin colt can come out on top today but may again find one too good among the older horses. Battersea is very interesting having been lightly raced this year but FORGOTTEN VOICE can defy his big weight. It's more than two years since Nicky Henderson's stayer last got his head in front but he went close at Sandown and Goodwood in July, with Battersea among those behind on the latter occasion.
