Verdict

RAINBOW VIEW followed up her debut success in a Newmarket maiden in July by taking the Sweet Solera at the same venue with similar ease the following month and is hard to oppose despite her penalty here in the May Hill, getting the vote ahead of Aaroness and Snoqualmie Girl. The last mentioned has shown steady improvement and handles cut in the ground but David Elsworth's filly needs to improve again to trouble the selection so looks booked for a place at best. Roger Charlton's Rose Diamond found just Fantasia too good in the Prestige last time and she makes more appeal than Mick Channon's Lahaleeb, who has a bit to find with her on Goodwood form. Jim Bolger's Aaroness lost no caste in defeat in the Moyglare Stud Stakes on soft ground last time and she rates a big threat to Rainbow View, who gets the vote.
