Pure Poetry has the highest rating of those to have earned one but Richard Hannon's colt has yet to prove himself on ground this testing and he looks best left out of calculations with preference for ART PRINCESS, who gets the verdict ahead of Awinnersgame. The last mentioned has done little wrong so far including when a creditable sixth in the Coventry but Jeremy Noseda's colt has raced only on a fast surface so far so he looks best watched. Harwalla has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated and of more interest may be Viva Ronaldo. Richard Fahey's colt ran well when encountering cut in the ground for the first time in the July Stakes so he has to be considered. Sylvester Kirk's Talking Hands is probably better on faster ground, while Deadly Secret may struggle to give weight away all round. The vote then goes to Art Princess, who receives plenty of weight from most of her rivals and has already shown that she handles cut in the ground when second in the Cherry Hinton and a reproduction of that effort should suffice.
