From what we have seen on the racecourse The Oil Magnate looks the one to beat here and gets the nod ahead of Dnata Flyer, Adab, Star Choice and Zeeran. The selection produced a good piece of form to bring into this when runner-up on debut in a Redcar maiden last July. This trip suits and there clearly looks to be more to come, so he is the one they have to beat. Dnata Flyer was a beaten favourite at Catterick when appearing for the first time last week but will surely come on for the run and also the step up in trip here, so he is respected. Adab is another stepping up in trip, in his case from the minimum. That should suit and John Gosden's yard has begun its turf campaign well, so he should go close. Star Choice was well beaten on debut and needs to improve to trouble the selection, and a better proposition may be debutante Zeeran, who is bred to get middle distances and has probably shown a fair bit of speed at home to be lining up at this trip first time up. The market may prove a good guide to his chance, but The Oil Magnate is the one for us.
