Verdict

Bridgewater Boys has been a fine servant to Kevin Ryan and now Gary Moore and he can complete a four-timer here at the main expense of Hucking Heat, Schinken Otto and Site Sentry. The selection is not bred to get this far but he clearly does, as evidenced by six career wins at this trip or beyond. He is up 4lb since his latest win, and where some of these have to prove they can win on turf there are no concerns on that score, so we'll side with him. Hucking Heat loves Southwell and is not nearly as effective on turf when previously tried. However, he does have ability in context here and is respected. Schinken Otto stays this trip well and acts on a sound surface and he should be very competitive from this mark. Blue Spinnaker is on a long losing run and has plummeted to a mark that he has been very effective from in the past, Resplendent Ace would be better over further and on the polytrack, and Bivouac looks a more serious threat over a trip that suits, and he can give the selection most to do, but our pick here is Bridgewater Boys.
