    Verdict

BRANDO (NAP) bounced back to something like his best when just failing to catch Glen Shiel in the Champions Sprint at Ascot last time. He’ll take the beating at this lower level with a similar effort and can reverse earlier running at York with the winner Dakota Gold. The latter has looked better than ever this year and has subsequently landed a Listed event at Nottingham while Gulliver returned to winning ways in a tough sprint at York with Magical Journey behind. Ostilio has been winning over 7f while 2018 Ayr Gold Cup winner Son Of Rest hasn’t won since but travels over from Ireland with a chance. The remainder are mostly useful handicappers with something to find on these terms.
