Verdict

Quite a few are understandably taking the opportunity to move out of handicap company into Listed grade in a late-season attempt to notch all-important black type. However, they have a job on against established Listed and Group performers, such as Dakota Gold and KING'S LYNN. The latter is preferred as the evidence suggests that 6f on soft ground suits ideally on a track where he has always gone well. An excellent last-time Ascot second suggests he has retained his form well too. Tarhib has dotted up in a couple of 'egg and spoon' races and could be anything as he takes a major rise in grade and is well worth a small saver. Ainsdale and Bielsa are also noteworthy.
