      Verdict

      Sayf Shamal returned an impressive five-length winner at Kempton on her debut but hasn’t raced since January. The other Godolphin runner, Right Direction, ran well for third at Thirsk on her introduction but BETTY F gets another chance back in novice company. Well beaten in the Sandringham at Ascot last time, Jeremy Noseda’s filly is rated 92 and could prove the one to beat in first-time headgear. The remainder will do well to figure on what little they’ve shown so far with Tafawoq perhaps best of them.
