Mull Of Killough has won both his starts so far but a 5lb rise for his handicap debut success at Thirsk last time makes this tougher in a more competitive contest for John Spearing's gelding and a safer option looks to be EMIRATES ROADSHOW, who is preferred to Standpoint. Sir Michael Stoute's gelding opened his account when landing a Warwick maiden over seven furlongs last month and he has to be respected on his handicap debut but is not certain to stay the extra furlong so may be best watched. John Gosden can do little wrong at present so Uniquely Poised has to be considered but he seems a shade high in the weights for what he has achieved, while Harry Dunlop's Arrivederla has more to do than when winning races at Lingfield and Haydock in his last two starts. Luca Cumani's Magaling won well enough here last time but may prefer the ground to be softer and of more interest may be Roman Republic. Mark Johnston's colt makes his seasonal reappearance today but the stable have their runners in good form so lack fo a recent run need not be of concern and he has to be considered off what looks a fair mark. Preference though is for Godolphin's Emirates Roadshow, who lost no caste in defeat at Windsor on his return last month and he has every chance off just a 4lb higher mark today.
