      Verdict

Jack Dexter won this in 2013 and again last year and is a standing dish here. But the unseasonably fast going is not in his favour whereas the likes of Absolutely So, Kimberella and GROWL (NAP) like to hear their hooves rattle. The latter ran the race of his life on Champions Day at Ascot last month when chasing home The Tin Man and he'll take all the beating if in the same mood. Perfect Pasture makes a quick reappearance after finishing second at Nottingham earlier in the week while only one three-year-old has won this in 10 years so Dawaa, Dutch Destiny and Lady Macapa all look to be facing a stiff task. Aeolus may be best of the rest.
