      Verdict

OUT DO made his reappearance in a valuable sales race at Newmarket last month but never threatened. He'd gone very close in a maiden at HQ in August, however, and Luca Cumani has a fine strike rate with his three-year-olds at this track. The remainder with experience have some catching up to do to match the selection with the older horse Shahzan and last July's Sandown runner-up Hannibal Hayes the two most likely to do so. Of the newcomers, Jerry Ellen makes most appeal given he's a half-brother to a host of winners including Listed race winner Miss Beabea.
