made all, hung left throughout, strongly challenged from halfway, kept on under pressure inside final furlong, all out
chased leaders, hard driven and headway over 1f out, stayed on same pace final furlong
behind, headway halfway, weakened over 1f out
MAYFIELD GIRL disappointed on her latest start over the stiff 5f at Beverley but had done much better when third at Doncaster on her debut. A repeat of that effort on this more suitable track could see her off the mark. Newcomer Shrimper Roo is a half-brother to a couple of winners and makes more appeal than stablemate Peep N Creep while Brazilian Clown is related to winning sprinter Nearly A Gift and he's worth noting on his debut. Hiddon Coin is another to consider if the money comes for him.
