        Verdict

        Ruwaiyan is sure to be popular here as he made stablemate Marshgate Lane, third in a competitive handicap at Goodwood earlier this week, pull out all the stops on his second start at Newmarket. Godolphin also have newcomer Ustura in the field while Starfield and Muqantara are other debutants representing powerful Newmarket yards. Port Charlotte should be suited by the step up in trip but will have to improve to trouble CHECKPOINT. Sir Henry Cecil's colt made subsequent Ascot winner Gospel Choir pull out all the stops at Salisbury last month and a repeat of that effort would probably suffice in this. Blazing Speed looks best of the rest but will do better when tackling handicaps.
