WINDSHEAR (NAP) made a winning return in last year's renewal but has a recent run under his belt this time round. The Hannon charge is penalised for last year's success but can still take on Chancery on level terms. The latter was in fine form last season winning three times. Those wins all came over 1m2f though he has won over today's trip before and should have the measure of Sandro Botticelli, a lightly-raced import from Ireland, and Old Town Boy. Encore L'amour has competed in pattern company without success since winning a maiden but has a chance on these terms.
