Richard Fahey has sent out four of the last 10 winners but Jan Van Hoof is worse off with last year's winner Johnny Cavagin on running at Pontefract in September. Fullon Clarets also represents Fahey and is not badly treated on last year's best form but Swift Approval still looks high enough in the weights. Red Tycoon continued to rise in the handicap after winning at Ayr early last year and is now 12lb higher while Intisaab was well beaten in last year's renewal but went on to land a double. Jockey bookings suggest the latter's stablemate Provident Spirit is preferred despite not winning last year but a chance is taken on HARLEQUIN STRIKER. He notched-up a double last season including a win in soft ground at Epsom and could be thereabouts.
