In depth

Verdict

Laura Giesgen rides plenty of winners in Germany and her mount Falak won over hurdles at Galway a fortnight ago. Serena Brotherton is on board Take A Turn, who was in winning form over timber on ground with some give in the spring. Laura Hourigan won the Ladies' Derby here in the summer and UNIVERSAL FOCUS is running well enough to give her another success on the track. A winner over the trip on soft ground last month, Ross O'Sullivan's charge couldn't quite handle fast going over 1m6f at Navan but ran well and gets another chance here. Lisa O'Neill and Joseph O'Brien look a formidable combination and the maiden Eria will surely be winning soon. Maunganui is in the form of his life and is another to consider under USA point-to-point trainer/rider Emme Fullilove.
