After landing a Limerick maiden from subsequent winner Modern Approach, Homesman was put in his place by Irishcorrespondent here though that was certainly no disgrace. His stable companion Finn McCool has been finding 1m4f too far this campaign though his overall form falls just short, a remark that also applies to another Ballydoyle entry Utah. Act Of Valour was an impressive maiden winner at Roscommon while Angel Island didn't quite get the run of the race when attempting to complete a double at Killarney. Red Label, a winner for Luca Cumani in the UK, made a successful debut for Jessica Harrington at Gowran and there should be more to come while VOCIFEROUS MARINA didn't show her best form in the Musidora after looking very progressive when landing a Listed contest earlier and it's Jim Bolger's filly who can get back on track.
