There has obviously been something amiss with ANCIENT KINGDOM, who hasn't been seen since a very promising third to Don Carlos at Leopardstown last October. The son of Giant's Causeway looked a useful prospect that day and can start making up for lost time. Barrow Island has come up against a couple of very smart winners on his last two starts and is sure to make a bold bid along with Eighteen Summers, who made a nice start behind Indicative at Leopardstown ten days ago. Hot Sand and Pinnk have disappointed after early promise but one to keep an eye on in the market is Reach The Stars as Dermot Weld's once-raced filly is related to several high-class winners and should be ideally suited by today's trip on her belated reappearance.
