Verdict
It's impossible to look beyond CASAMENTO after his brilliant performance behind Pathfork in the Group 1 National Stakes here. Michael Halford's colt, racing in the famous colours of Sheikh Mohammed, went into Ireland's top juvenile event with just a Tipperary maiden success to his credit but he attracted plenty of support and gave followers of the unbeaten winner a real fright. Factum and Robin Hood represent Aidan O'Brien and the former, a winner on Polytrack last time, may just have the edge over his stablemate though he's just held by Mawaakef on their run at Killarney. Music In The Rain is progressing nicely but a place is the best he can hope for if Casamento is on song.
