COUGAR makes a quick reappearance after finishing runner-up to the in-form Urban Oasis in the Ulster Derby last weekend. Aidan O’Brien’s charge drops back markedly in trip but was travelling easily at today’s distance and can go one better. Adonis had some fair juvenile form and was staying on over a mile on his return to action at Gowran and should be winning soon while Nemean came from a long way back to finish a close second over just short of this trip at Gowran so has to be on the shortlist. Nusret has been running well at this trip and it’s only a matter of time before he gets off the mark while stablemate Rosso Corsa cost an astonishing $800,000 at Keeneland and is one to note for the future.
