Super Say won this last year from a 6lb lower mark but without a prep run. Andy Oliver will have him primed for a repeat though he's up against several in-form rivals. Three-year-olds have a poor record though not too many run and only Croi An Or is entered this time. He's progressing nicely and is fairly treated while Gunner Lindley should now be approaching his peak on his third start for new connections and is just 2lb higher than when scoring at York in October. Banna Boirche and Billyford have been facing each other on Polytrack at Dundalk and there's little between them while Ask Jack has gradually dropped to a winnable mark and he's been running in better class though he was behind SWEET LIGHTNING, who had earlier won the Lincoln at Doncaster in great style, when both were behind Famous Name in the Group 3 Amethyst Stakes at Leopardstown and Tommy Carmody's new acquisition can defy his big weight.
