EMULOUS won this last year and ended the campaign with a Group 1 success at Leopardstown and that's by far the strongest form on view. She has a penalty and no prep run unlike a year ago but is a high-class mare who will take all the beating. Alanza is penalised for her victory in the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster and she didn't run badly when stepped up to the highest level at Newmarket on her final start. She looks the main threat as the two UK raiders, Law Of The Range and Winter's Night, have yet to prove themselves at this level though both are consistent and should be fighting it out for a place.
