The King Of Kells looked one to follow when scoring on heavy ground here then found 5f too short at Navan. He started favourite at Gowran last week but blotted his copybook with a poor run. Convincer was also well supported when behind in that former contest on this track but couldn't last the pace after disputing the lead early. However, the one to take from that race is MEGANS BEAU, who was having his first start for a new handler and was battling on close home. Mowgli ran a bit better in first-time blinkers at Navan while Cobb And Co found 7f too far last time and the ground and trip look ideal.
