Of the last 16 winners, ten were trained in the UK and GLEN SHEIL is comfortably the pick on official ratings. Archie Watson's charge came here in August for the Group 3 Phoenix Sprint and only had a neck to spare over Sonaiyla, with last year's winner of this Speak In Colours not far behind in fourth. He then improved to finish second in a Group 1 at Haydock behind Dream Of Dreams before crowning the campaign at Ascot with victory in the Champions Sprint Cup. A mark of 117 may flatter him but he should have the legs of these. Summerghand and Royal Commando also travel across the Irish Sea and the latter holds a verdict over the former in the Cammidge Trophy at Doncaster though that's a long way shy of the selection's Group 1 form.
