Verdict

An intriguing Marble Hill stakes this year with plenty of classy juveniles on show and the vote goes to SAMUEL MORSE ahead of Lightening Thief and Moment Of Weakness. Aidan O'Brien has won five of the last 10 runnings of this event and he looks to have a live chance of getting win number six with Samuel Morse. The son of Danehill Dancer was a nice winner on debut when winning over the course and distance 41 days ago. That was on heavy ground but if coping with the quicker conditions and there is every chance he'll improve further with the ground, he'll go well. He also holds a Grade One Phoenix Stakes entry so is obviously held in some regard. Lightening Thief was a very impressive winner of his latest start when winning very easily from High Award. That was one of the better two-year-old performances this year and another big run can be expected. Furthermore, given his smaller trainer, a decent price may be obtained about a nice horse, a market check is advised. Moment Of Weakness is obviously a very nice horse but all his form has been on the polytrack at Dundalk. His latest win was boosted last night when Meow romped to an easy victory. He has talent but taking a short price about a horse that has never run on grass before is not our cup of tea. The nicely bred So Stylish is another to note but Samuel Morse gets the nod.
