A shocking turnout for such a valuable prize though that won't bother connections of TAKAR. John Oxx' dual Listed winner put a moderate effort in the Irish 2000 Guineas behind him with a convincing victory in heavy ground at Leopardstown and shouldn't have too much to fear from his two rivals. Among Equals progressed nicely last season and though well beaten on his reappearance in a minor contest at Fairyhouse last month will have come on for the run and can do better. Singing Bird looked one to follow when scoring here in May on her debut but she hasn't progressed as expected and has been beaten twice at this level subsequently.
